Class Teaching Assistant: Miss Barlow

PE days: Monday AM and Wednesday AM

Forest School: Thursday AM

Home learning:
- We ask that children recap the Phase 3 Phonics mat daily during the Autumn term before moving onto Phase 5.
- We ask that parents/carers listen to and help their child with their school reading book at least four times per week and get their reading record signed and dated.
- We ask that parents/carers read more challenging books such as library books from school or books at home to help develop their children's pleasure for reading as well as their vocabulary.
- Home learning tasks are set every Friday and are due in by the following Friday.

Dojo points are awarded for all effort.

Polite reminders for parents/carers:
- Please ensure all of your child's uniform and belongings are labelled with their name.
- Please ensure your child has a water bottle for school. We kindly remind you that we are a healthy school and children should only bring water to school unless weak juice has been discussed with Mrs Tupling due to medical reasons.
- Please ensure your child has a puddle suit or a waterproof coat and pants, as well as wellington boots or walking boots for Forest School.
- Please ensure your child has a full PE kit according to the school uniform policy. We kindly ask that earrings are removed before school on PE days if your child cannot take out their earrings and put them back in on their own. Staff are not allowed to take children's earrings out or put them back in. Children are not allowed to wear plasters over their ears for PE.
- Please help your child in becoming more independent with dressing themselves and looking after/remembering their belongings. This is a key skill that is developed with your help in Key Stage 1.
