Welcome to Year 2! 

Our class saint is Saint Dominic.

Saint Dominic is the patron saint of Astronomers and was known for his devotion and love for Jesus. He had a love of learning and inspired others to deepen their faith.

In Year 2, we aim to foster a love of learning in our classroom and aim for the stars. Just like Saint Dominic, we want to spread the love of Jesus and inspire others to grow in the faith of Jesus.

Mrs Fleck is the class teacher. The wonderful Mrs Bottomley is our wonderful teaching assistant who works in our class on a daily basis.

We are big believers that ‘education is the most powerful weapon which can be used to change the world’ (Martin Luther King). Our classroom is an environment where everything is a learning process, mistakes are made and celebrated and challenges are welcomed.

We are independent learners who ensure that Jesus is at the centre of our classroom.
